The Razumovsky Service A Porcelain Cabinet of Curiosities
This 94-page, hardbacked book catalogues the fabulous Razumovsky Sèvres porcelain dinner service, now part of the Rothschild collections at Waddesdon Manor. Author Selma Schwartz, Associate Curator of Porcelain at Waddesdon, tells the story of the man who ordered it, Count Kyril Razumovsky, and traces the development of the service’s bird patterns, modelled on works written by an Englishman, George Edwards. Beautifully illustrated in full colour, the book also has a preface from Lord Rothschild.
